Everyone plays a role in helping children have healthy and positive childhoods.

Positive Childhood Experiences occur when children experience safe, stable nurturing relationships and environments.

America is turning 250 — and our students have something to say.

Davis School District is hosting Voices of a Nation: Student Perspectives on 250 Years of America, a districtwide speaking event aligned with America 250 Utah.

Students from every school and grade level are invited to apply to deliver an original speech about America’s past, present or future.

Selected students will receive mentorship and take the stage on May 4, 2026, at the Davis Instructional Services Center in Layton. The event will be professionally produced and live streamed for the community.

You don’t have to be famous to have something worth saying.

Take the mic. Share your idea. Be part of the story.

Applications due March 18.

Hello Wonderful Students and Families!

We are excited to have our 2nd annual Hot Chocolate Hangout this Monday at 6-7:30. It will be at our building, the DISC building at 2195 University Park Blvd, Layton. We will be at the West entrance.

We will be serving hot chocolate, playing games, and collecting food items and money to donate to one of our most needy communities, at the Clearfield Teen Center. With the longest government shutdown in history, we felt a great place to put our efforts would be towards the families near Hill Airforce Base. There are 3 ways to donate.

1. Come to the hangout and bring cans of food
2. Use the QR code on the attached flyer to donate directly to the Teen Center
3. Go eat at Pizza Pie Cafe and mention Davis Connect and 25% of your bill will go towards the Teen Center.

Some more information about the Teen Centers in our district: they provide laundry services, food, showers, and a quiet place to do their homework with internet access and other accommodations. These are run mainly by the counselors at each high school. We hope that these services not only help the teens in our community but help their siblings and parents as well.
